I love INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY!

Following dinner tonight, our neighbor knocked on the door. It appears that someone drove into our mailboxes. Not only did they plow down four mailboxes with metal post and four inch wooden post, they then backed out from them and drove away. They made no attempt to notify anyone. It isn't as though all of our mailboxes have an address on them!!!! My favorite words in my American history classes are individual responsibililty. Since the modernist era, that has simply become non-existent. Dan and I did reassemble most of them, but all the post and a few of the boxes must be replaced. So sad...so goes the USA today.

My Little Sarah

Sarah is the one in the family that you just aren't sure what exactly she is going to repeat or what she will say. She was so cute as she came home from the second day of school and did her best Mrs. Hembree impersonation as to what the behavior chart means.

Her claim to fame.

We had a photographer for our local newspaper visit our open house. She took all kinds of pictures. Well..on the online paper...there was none other than my little Joy and some of her gang. She is sooooo cute.

PHEW!!!!

Ok..for my dear friend...yes...I am posting this!! HA HA!

Ok, so my life got a little crazy, and I fell off the map for a while. Well, since I am going to be helpful in keeping the school blog up and running...I reckon it's time I got mine under control as well.

This summer flew by with trips to SC with my family and Utah to visit Dan's family. We had a blast. In the midst of it all, Dan managed to have a little surgery and change the pace of life up yet again. I am so glad he is back to normal. Through it all, I am so thankful for our wonderful church family who through this first year in the ministry has stood in the trenches with us and helped us lay the bricks to a wonderful foundation.

Our recent task has been getting the school year underway. This past week we have seen at least two new students daily. It has been a blessing to see God provide. His grace is truly amazing as it always seem to come when my last drop of strength is gone.

Our biggest hightlight thus far has been our little Sarah Joy joining the ranks of elementary school. She headed off to school for the first time, and my oh my, she was so very cute. The second day of school we got to celebrate her birthday. That was so much fun.

We are trying to get into the swing of things. Phew..in this family routine is a non-existent word....

I will try to post some pics soon.
