We made it home safe and sound midnight on Friday! Phew! What a full week of sight seeing we had. It was a wonderful trip, and I have to give a huge shout out to our Uncle Dale who made this trip possible. He heard Dan and I talking about wanting to go, and he made it all possible. Here he is in our photo from our trip to Mt. Vernon.
I will be posting here on many of our activities and thoughts. We saw so much, and we learned so much. It was so humbling to walk and stand in the same places that some of the greatest men ever have been. I was totally in awe!

Can't wait to hear all about it!! I would love to go to DC when the kiddos are closer to yours kids' ages.
